Nouswise is a new search engine that searches through the sources you want to focus on, empowered with a stack of AI, nouswise unlocks the power of knowledge with information discovery with the least hallucination rate.

I am pleased to write about the most amazing AI product that I have ever been involved in my entire life. And it is Nouswise!

Personal Search engine in the information you trust the most

Nouswise is a new knowledge-ground platform that provides the most suitable environment to have full control to focus on your specific domain of expertise. It is built, designed, and serviced just for you, as a student of life. 😉

Why am I so excited about it?

My WHY is the fact that it unlocked my ability to say I can commemorate whatever I’ve learned from books/papers I’ve read, both physical and digital. On the other hand, I’m creating my library of resources that I read, take notes efficiently, and have an extended mind that is super smart.

It’s not generally available right now, but if you want to get early access just hit me up on X (formerly Twitter). 😉🤗

Why this name: Nouswise

“Nous” is a Greek philosophical term meaning “mind and intellect” and “wise” means “having or showing experience, knowledge”.

Here I am providing an overview of how you can enjoy and be your best:

Creating Nous (Notes)

Currently, Nouswise has two ways of taking notes: Written Notes and Stored Responses.

1. You can start writing from scratch like this:

You have a note editor that enables you to write as you wish. Anytime you start a new note, it saves it automatically as you write:

Or

2. You can Ground and Ask:

It’s like you select a source(s) and make Nouswise focus on it (them):

Note that I uploaded the most important scientific paper in the recent decade for AI community “Attention Is All You Need’ since I can assume that almost most tech savvies are aware of it.

It provides two suggested questions as suggestions for exploration, or you can simply ask what you're looking for to know:

We will talk about those arrows in each paragraph (citations)

You can change the prompt without rewriting it from scratch, or just regenerate to get a different response. Whenever you get your answer, you can save it; it will be saved as a small box, nous (note).

You can open it to full screen or side by side if you need Nouswise during your research:

Side-by-side view

Citation:

When you query a specific information, Nouswise gives you answer with fine-grained citations from the sources you set. They’re shown in the form of arrows, and when you hover over them; the information of where the answer is coming from and a highlighted preview of that part.

I believe this is a great way to verify the trustfulness and reliability of the information given to you, or just get back to the source and read that part if you feel a need for that.

It’s amazing since it not only gives you where the answer comes from but also tells you the paper's name, page number, and the specific line it is referring to.

Organizing and searching through your nous (notes)

In the traditional approach of note-taking, the process has been always fun in the beginning and then morphing into hectic. Nouswise has solved this problem!

You can tag your notes (nous) and filter them based on your tags:

Or semantically search:

Here I just searched for the word “RNN”.

Or even, you can simply ask:

The answer comes from the notes you have saved!

Spoiler: soon this kind of answer will also include citations from your notes. 🤗😁🫡

This was a quick overview of some features we’ve been working on. You can contact me directly here or my X (formerly Twitter) to get early access. Also, I’m building a community of enthusiasts on Discord.
